Foreign Corrupt Practices Act

Fenwal requires its employees, consultants, contractors, vendors, agents, and representatives to understand and comply with the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and all other applicable anti-corruption laws.
The FCPA makes unlawful certain conduct by or on behalf of U.S. companies abroad. The FCPA comprises two basic elements: (i) anti-bribery provisions which prohibit the payment of bribes to foreign officials to obtain or keep business and (ii) accounting provisions which require companies to maintain accurate books and records and an adequate internal accounting system. Failure to comply with the FCPA or another applicable anticorruption law may result in significant civil and criminal penalties.
