Fenwal, Inc. and AABB are collaborating to launch the fourth annual Blood Collectors Week, September 14-20, 2008. This recognition week will promote and recognize the outstanding contributions of phlebotomists and apheresis operators and all others involved in supporting the nation’s blood supply.
The primary goal for this recognition event is to celebrate this profession as being vital to the blood banking community, and linking how blood collection professionals secure a safe and adequate blood supply by creating a positive experience for the donor.
